The Housing Justice Program hosted the third annual Housing Justice Summit at Rutgers Law School in Camden. Some 150 attorneys, advocates, community members, and students gathered to discuss housing inequity and interdisciplinary strategies to address barriers to secure, healthy, and affordable housing.

This academic year, the law school is launching two new legal clinics. Students will collaborate with professionals across disciplines, engage in real-world legal challenges, and make a meaningful impact in across New Jersey.

I was fortunate to be selected for the U.S.-Mexico Border Trip facilitated and funded by the Immigrant Rights Clinic each year. The trip provides law students with the unique opportunity to directly aid in addressing the legal barriers faced by migrants at the border through collaboration with a local non-profit organization and under the direct supervision of experienced Clinic staff.
