Scholarships
When you apply to Rutgers Law, you apply for merit-based scholarships.
Current Rutgers Law School students in Camden and Newark benefit from over $10 million in scholarship awards. These awards are provided through the generosity of alumni and friends of the law school, and from funds allocated by the law school. All admitted students are automatically considered for merit-based scholarships as part of the admissions process. No separate application is needed.
All returning law students can be considered for our other institutional scholarships by submitting the institutional scholarship application each year. These awards are based on a wide range of awarding criteria, including financial need, academic achievement, and area of legal interest.
All admitted students are automatically considered for merit-based scholarships as part of the admissions process. No separate application is required. If you are awarded an external scholarship, you are required to report it to the Financial Aid Administrator at the Law School.
