Steven Salinger

Steven L. Salinger is a 2015 graduate of Rutgers Law. As a law student, he participated in the Trial Advocacy program as well as the Thurgood Marshall Mock Trial Team, now the Constance Baker Motley Mock Trial Team. After graduation, he clerked for the Honorable Michele M. Fox, J.S.C. He has been an Assistant Deputy Public Defender with the New Jersey Office of the Public Defender since 2016 in Camden, New Jersey. In that role, he has gained significant experience in a client-focused criminal trial practice. He has also engaged in meaningful litigation involving the confluence of criminal charges and mental health. In addition, Steve works with the ReNew Camden Federal Reentry Court and various social justice initiatives in Camden and throughout New Jersey.
